Intention

A mother's and a father's love for their child seems beyond words.
Beyond words in its intensity and sensations when they watch their child grow up. But what about mothers and fathers who are deprived of this experience? What does a mother feel who may not see her child prosper, because it cannot prosper? How quickly does the unconditional love towards one's own child turn into unbearable pain, because one watches the child suffer? What do mothers and fathers in this world's poorest countries feel when they cannot nourish their child? There are mothers who have witnessed the death of their children, powerlessly. They do not find any words for the injustice they have lived through and feel bereft of their own self: their heart is incapable of feeling as it did before, when its most important part -- one's own child -- is taken from it. Are these things happening in other countries and are therefore too far away for us? No.

For the parents, the only ray of hope remaining is that their own child will be better after death than in the here and now. This is also what artists Hülya Kandemir and Sayfoudin thought about. Thanks to Hülya Kandemir's unique voice and Sayfoudin's sensitive Spoken Word, the two artists succeed in producing a very special song. Touching the audience was the goal! For the artists want to draw attention to the fact that everyone, each according to their abilities, can and must fight prevalent child poverty and injustice, regardless of nationality or religious convictions. The first act starts in one's head, in one's thoughts and by dealing with the situation that dominates many countries
of this world.

By the choice of their words, the artists are trying to musically illustrate child poverty and the distress of parents, without placing anything under a taboo. The Turkish lullaby, complemented by Sayfoudin's carefully chosen and explicit Spoken Word, soon reveals that it is not meant to sing well-protected people to sleep. Quite the contrary. The song reflects the suffering of children and their parents, who fight in poverty for each day of their lives. It demonstrates emotions and lost hopes. Words that touch the listener.

Any donation, no matter how much, will make a change! Apart from sensitising people to the topic, the artists also hope to set off a donation.
